Tracey, from Clarendon Hills, IL, started her ballet training at the Salt Creek Ballet, and attended summer intensives with the Boston Ballet, The School of American Ballet, The San Francisco Ballet, American Ballet Theatre and Ballet Austin. In 2002, Tracey graduated from ButlerUniversity with a Bachelor of Science degree in Arts Administration, and joined the Louisville Ballet where she performed in Andre Prokovsky’s Anna Karenina & Vespri, George Balanchine’s Serenade, Rubies, Who Cares? and in La Sylphide. Tracey joined the Sarasota Ballet in 2004.
Repertoire
Tracey’s repertoire with the company includes featured roles in thepas de deuxin David Bintley’s Scottish Dances, prelude in Mikhail Fokine’s Les Slyphide, a soloist role in Paquitaand as An Episode from His Past in Antony Tudor’s LilacGarden.She has also performed in John Cranko’s Pineapple Poll, Andre Prokovsky’s Anna Karenina, Renato Paroni’s Rococo Variations and George Balanchine’s Divertimento No. 15. She has performed in many works by Sir Frederick Ashton, which include a red girl in Les Patineurs, The Two Pigeons and Façade. In Dame Ninette De Valois’ Checkmate she was featured as The Red Queen, and has also performed in her The Rakes Progress. She has also performed in Dominic Walsh’s : Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Matthew Bourne’s The Infernal Galop.
