Our Students have gone on to wonderful careers in both dance and other fields. They have been awarded scholarships to New York University, Goucher College, Butler University, Harid Dance Conservatory, and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre School.

Our older students have consistently attained between at 3.5 and 4.0 grade pointe average, are honor roll students, and are members of the Junior National Honor Society.

The success of the program is further reflected in the consistent number of students that have graduated from high school, many of them in spite of cirumstances that would otherwise have hindered them

Brigette Zehr started her dance studies with DNG. In her carreer since leaving she has danced with Houston Ballet and she is currently a First Soloist at the prestigious National Ballet of Canada.

In December 2002, the program received an award from the President's Committee on the Arts and Humanities, one of only 13 organizations across the United States and Mexico to receive this prestigious award.
