Trilogy: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

Choreography: Dominic Walsh
Music: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

Sarasota Ballet director Iain Webb has always believed that in order to move forward, one must understand the historical significance of what came before us. With this he as introduced works that are recognized worldwide and artistically and historically vital to the dance world. An equally important component of Iain's vision for the future of the company is to provide the Sarasota Ballet dancers and audience the opportunity to experience works created by contemporary choreographers. This was so rewarding for both Iain and Dominic that after a few discussions about this experience, they decided that the final part of The Trilogy should be made on both companies in order to recreate and preserve the energy created between the dancers. The Trilogy: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is the magnificent result of a yearlong collaboration between two Directors and their companies. Following its world premiere in Sarasota on April 24, 2009 both companies will travel to Houston for three additional
