We are ecstatic to officially announce our 30th Anniversary Season! This year's collection of ballets celebrates the highlights and growth of the Company especially under Director Iain Webb's leadership, now commencing his fourteenth season in the role. With our new Digital Fall Season, four Company Premieres, and so much more, the 30th Anniversary Season is a celebration of The Sarasota Ballet's past, present, and future.
This year sees the return of repertory favorites such as George Balanchine's Serenade, Will Tuckett's Changing Light, and Dame Ninette de Valois' Checkmate, among others. Company Premieres include Agnes de Mille's dramatic and engaging Fall River Legend, Mark Morris' The Letter V, Bronislava Nijinska's Les Biches, and an as yet unannounced Company Premiere. The Season also includes our first-ever Digital Fall Season, featuring three Programs specially designed to be watched from the safety and comfort of your home. This Season will close with an extraordinary program featuring the work of three female choreographers who so greatly influenced the development and popularization of ballet in the 20th century.
