Corps de Ballet

Joined The Sarasota Ballet in 2026 as Corps de Ballet.

Born: Phoenix, Arizona

Training: School of Ballet Arizona, Master Ballet Academy, Houston Ballet Academy

Previous company: Kansas City Ballet Second Company

Favorite quote: “I don’t just want to dance, I have to dance” – Marianela Nunez

Favorite role: Allegro Brillante Corps. During my first year at Houston Ballet Academy as a Pro 2 student, I was cast alongside only HBIIs. This opportunity motivated me to work significantly harder to match my peers’ level, who were far more technically advanced. Through this role, I grew tremendously as a dancer and artist. Performing on stage to that beautiful score, while simultaneously feeling the energy of my fellow dancers and the audience, was an experience unlike anything I had ever felt before.

Favorite costume: Aurora’s Father (My first Ballet: Claudio Munoz’s – The Sleeping Beauty). I had never done a role that was purely pantomime. It was a challenge to try to convey words and emotions through only port de bras, but the costume and makeup helped transform me into this character, which is why it is, grandly, one of my favorite costumes I’ve ever worn.

Fun fact: I started ballet at age 13, and before that, my goal was to become a Broadway performer!
