Through our Outreach Program, The Sarasota Ballet reaches over 7,000 people each year that might not otherwise have the opportunity to experience ballet. Dance - The Next Generation (DNG) is a one-of-a-kind 10 year afterschool program that teaches self-esteem and confidence through the discipline of dance. The DNG programserves students identified as at-risk for not graduating high school at as early as the 3rd grade. The DNG program works to offset the myriad of negative environments many of our students face on a daily basis. Successful completion of this program gives the child the opportunity to receive college scholarships through our partners at State College of Florida and University of South Florida.
