Witness the growth and excellence of the 2025 Summer Intensive Students
The dancers have been carefully trained in ballet technique, reaching for exact placement of limbs in the air and finishing phrases, and looking extremely well-rehearsed.
A chance to celebrate young dancers this summer!
These performances showcase the talent of future artists of the dance world, featuring the multitude of students who have spent three to five weeks in our Summer Intensive developing their artistry and technique under the careful guidance of The Sarasota Ballet’s exceptional faculty. InMotion will include over 140 students ages 12-21 from all over the USA.
Performances will include
Classical Works:
August Bournonville’s La Sylphide, and Marius Petipa’s Swan Lake and Paquita.
Paquita will be staged by Company Ballet Master Roman Rykine.
Contemporary & Jazz:
The Sarasota Ballet School faculty—Kaylin Carrera, Sea Lee, and Drew Travis Robinson—will premiere a new original work created especially for the students.
Musical Theatre:
An excerpt from the Broadway musical Gypsy will be presented.
This piece is staged by Savannah Holds, a former Broadway performer and star of Smash.
