Favorite Quote - "Dreaming, after all, is a form of planning." - Gloria Steinem

Favorite ballet or role - Monotones II - I love every part of this ballet, from the movement to the music to the partnering.  It is always challenging, no matter how many times I revisit it or who I am dancing with.  But there is an overlying sense of peace, tranquility, and otherworldliness that makes this ballet special.

Favorite costume - Purple dress from There Where She Loved - While this costume, designed by Holly Hynes, is fairly simple, the details are lovely.  It has flattering lines and a silk skirt that moves beautifully.  Most of all, it fits me perfectly, letting me focus on dancing while still making me feel beautiful.

A fun fact about you and/or an award - I have performed George Balanchine’s Serenade with every professional company I have ever danced with.  While it has always been one of my favorites, it means that much more that it spans my entire career.
