InMotion 2022

A chance to celebrate young dancers this summer!

Join us for The Sarasota Ballet's InMotion performances – Thursday, July 28 at 7:30 PM; Friday, July 29 at 2:00 PM and 7:30 PM; and Saturday, July 30 at 2:00 PM at the FSU Center for the Performing Arts.

These performances showcase the talent of future artists of the dance world, featuring the multitude of students who have spent the last 3 - 5 weeks developing their artistry and technique under the careful guidance of The Sarasota Ballet's exceptional faculty. The students performing come from dance schools across North America. During the summer intensive, students have had the thrill of working with renowned teachers from The Sarasota Ballet including: Christopher Hird, Dierdre Miles Burger, Lindsay Fischer, and Risa Kaplowitz along with Company dancers Taylor Sambola and Luis Gonzalez and former principal Victoria Hulland. Guest faculty this summer included Franco De Vita, Raymond Lukens, Duncan Cooper, and Sally Herrera.

InMotion features a world premiere by Assistant Education Director Lindsay Fischer, along with excerpts from classical and contemporary ballets. Students performing range from 11-22 years.

Intensive Students will be divided into the following performances:
Thursday July 28 at 7:30pm and Friday July 29 at 2:00pm: LEVELS 1A, 2B, 3A, 4A, 4B
Friday July 29 at 7:30pm and Saturday July 30 at 2:00pm: LEVELS 1B, 2A, 3B, 4A, 4B
